Travel

Conference events will take place in Austin Hall on the Harvard Law School campus as well as at the Taubman Conference Center at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.

NOTE: Please enter Taubman Conference Center through the side entrance. To access the side entrance, go down the stairs on the left side of the building as you face the front entrance. Please also bring valid ID.

We are offering a reimbursement to subsidize travel expenses up to $200 if your group is 5 or more people (from out of town). Attendees coming from the West Coast can get a subsidy of up to $400 towards travel. Please check the registration packet for more details.

Lodging

The most convenient hotel, the Sheraton Commander Hotel, is located one block west of Harvard Law School.

Discounted rates are available at the Harvard Square Hotel ($149/room) and the Inn at Harvard Square ($189/room) if you mention "APALSA Conference" while booking.

Attire

Business attire is encouraged for all conference events.

 

Price

There are two conference packages (Standard and Full), and we highly recommend upgrading to the full package for a more complete experience of the conference.

Harvard students can attend most events free, and everyone else can sign up for as low as $10 (if you catch the early bird registration).

If you sign up for ten or more people, there is also a discounted group rate for the full package.

Conference Resume Book

We will assemble a resume book to be distributed to all sponsoring firms. To submit your resume, please e-mail it to apalsaconference@gmail.com with the subject heading: [APALSA Conference] Resume Submission. The deadline for resume submissions is Friday, February 22, 2008.
